Reform Mounty 110V
Increased power, improved cooling for tough conditions and subtle functional changes
The previous engine has been replaced with new 3B engine type meeting emission target standards. Additionally, power has increased to 80 kW / 109 hp (at 2600 rpm) with 360 Nm at 1,100 rpm for the 2970cc, turbocharged VM R754 IE4 34D/9 unit.
Serving the engine is a new larger volume, higher cooling capacity radiator design with improved cooling performance.
The turbo has also been moved further forward on the unit, optimising engine heat dissipation. A new particle filter casing and a shortening of the exhaust system has also led to further improvements in efficiency.
Aesthetically, the Mounty 110V has a number of design changes, most notably the hightening of the engine hood to allow the larger water cooler. This change accomodates the utilisation of larger radiator grilles improving surface effeciency. The bonnet is now completely finished in body colour and comes with new aluminium Reform emblems. The 110V is also equipped with new LED front lights and a new design engine hood lock.
Further down the engineering chain are improvements to the heat cycle by merging of the working and driving hydraulic tanks. Additionally, more oil is available.
A new engine oil cooler and driving hydraulic cooler employs bigger radiators and higher cooling capacities, with no change to the external roof shell.
On the electronic side, some system adjustments have been made to the battery (now 950 cold cranking amps, up 14%) and a 180A alternator (28% increase).
Inside the cab are a number of small functional and aesthetic changes including a new closed foot mat for ease of cleaning/removal and a newly designed hanging foot pedal.
The new model starts factory production in late September with first expected Australian deliveries in early 2016.
